Toggling Proxy Server setting

Does anyone have any AppleScript code or ideas for turning proxy server settings on and off in the System Preferences “Network” option? I frequently need to activate or deactivate the use of an HTTP proxy server when I access the web from locations away from my office, and would like to have an option to shorten the number of steps needed to toggle the Proxy Server option on or off from within a web browser or other application. I’m not too familiar with AppleScript code and this would help me begin to learn how to use it to simplify repetitive tasks and develop new scripts for automating them.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide with this.

Model: PowerBook G4
AppleScript: 1.9.3, ScriptEditor 2.0 (v43)
Browser: Safari 1.3 (v312)
Operating System: Mac OS X (10.3.9)

set up a location for each place so that you only have to click the location bit in the apple menu (top right)

this holds proxy settings for every location i use it cause i can have proxies set at home and other places
a lot quicker and more efficent then any applescript will ever be

Hi Guys - As this is not a complete solution for Code Exchange, I’ve moved this to Mac OS X Forums.
