How can I execute an applescript in Mail without using a rule.

I have a script that I would like to run in Mail without using a rule. The script works fine when executed from a rule, but I was hoping that I could put it in the script dropdown list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try removing the “on perform_mail_action(info)” and “end perform_mail_action” lines.
