Hi,
Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I was wondering if there was a script that’d allow me to change the date and time in my System Perfs without having to do it directly?
Thanks.

I don’t think this is a newbie question. The solution below requires an admin password:

I appreciate the help. Just wondering, do you know how to make a script so that it automatically synchronizes with Apple’s Network Time? Thanks.
This will sync with Apple’s network time server. Again, you’ll need a password:
–Open this script in a new Script Editor window.
try
do shell script “sudo ntpdate time.apple.com” with administrator privileges
end try
You could hardcode your password into the script (not recommended):
–Open this script in a new Script Editor window.
try
do shell script “sudo ntpdate time.apple.com” password “your_admin_password” with administrator privileges
end try
