I’m trying to write a script to simplify the updating of the ‘File Helpers’ in Internet Explorer on the Mac. They can be found in the preferences.
I have several new ones that I want to set up and this needs doing on quite a few machines. Going to each machine and setting up these file helpers would be a very lengthy process hence the need to script it.
I’ve had a look at the IE dictionary but can’t see anything relating to what I’m trying to do so I’m wondering if it is possible.
Does anyone know if this is possible or if there are any scripting additions that extend the IE dictionary?
