Help! Tell statement

I used to have a tell statement: tell application “QuickTimePlayer”
Somehow this became changed to: tell application “Pif Designer”

Since this has happened I can never make the to tell back to “QuickTime Player”
The scriptmaker keeps changing it back to “Pif Designer”

I decided to change all the names “Pif designer” items to another name to force the tell statement to ask for another program (QuickTime Player) but still it keep changing it back to the Pif Designer application. Even if I compress thePifDesigner program the scriptmaker takes the folderName(!?) instead of the programName.
Whatever I try:
Scriptmaker (and AS Studio) keeps changing the name “QuickTime Player” to that other name. The only thing I have not tried is deleted everything related to “PifDesigner…”

I am about to become desperate

Help much appriciated

I have 4 versions of quicktime player and of every one of them the library opens normally in ScriptMaker.

I used to have this “tell application “QuickTime player” in my script.
The program used to look for an application named “Quicktime Player” and found that.
During a clean up I deleted the original (old) copy of Quicktime Player.
Next time opening the script in Project builder it asked for 'QuickTime Player”
I did not pay much attention to this and clicked OK because I wanted to do that later.
This was my mistake. Instead of carefully choosing the application I messed things up. The IB had chosen some name (Pif Designer) and this cannot be recovered.
