Greetings.
I’m completely new to scripting. I have a useful idea as a potential first project, but need some help getting started.
I am currently in a school’s network, and every few hours I am logged out of the internet and redirected to a splash page where I must reenter my user name and password to sign back on. Therefore, I’d like to create an AppleScript that will:

Automatically open Firefox
-
Go directly to the URL splash page
-
Enter my user name and password in the fields
-
Close Firefox
-
Repeat this process every hour or hour and a half.
If I can create this script, I will no longer have to worry about certain programs like instant messenger being logged out when I am out of the room, among other things I prefer keeping signed in. Thanks for the help!
