Hey all - am a Lingo/Actionscript programmer and have dabbled in Applescript in the past for mounting drives, etc…
As part of a current programming gig, I’m looking to automate a process to bring mp3 from a mac and ftp them to a Hitplayer, an external mp3 player with it’s own ip/webserver/ftp server.
I’m looking to create an applescript for iTunes that will, when selected, take the active playlist, allow the user to select one of 2 hitplayers by ip, then ftp each file in the playlist to the hitplayer, keeping the artist/record structure in tact, and creating a new playlist at the root of the hitplayer with the linked files based on the root of the hitplayer…
I’m going to start poking around at this myself, but hey, if some else has something similar I’d appreciate it…
