Hi all guys
I was able to get current user’s name with
‘set user_name to do shell script “whoami”’
Now I need to get the FULL username as shown in the first box of the Account panel in MacOSX.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Lampa.

TY!!!
When I was searching the archives, I noticed that there were quite a few posted questions that never got answered or commented on. I suspect this may be because of the “lasted posting” list on macscripter’s front page. It’s a wonderful thing, but it puts us into the habit of only looking at the front page for new topics. This could be a problem if someone in some part of the world posts a query that someone in some other part of the world could answer, but he never sees it because 10 other postings/updates push it out of the front page’s listing before he wakes up.
I wonder if a seperate listing of the ten last unanswered/uncommented upon postings might be a good idea?
