the scanner will only scan the network. you’ll end up with two text files, one with valid ip addresses and machine names (along with MAC address) and another with ip addresses (and MAC addresses).
it won’t help you with remotely accessing a machine. but it will tell you what machines are out there and what names they go by without having to access each individual computer.

l didn’t get to check the script youade mw last night the internet like commited, but whilst l was a school yesterday l found some cool scripts that should work, once l’m at home and the internet works l’ll post like 4 scripts claiming to do the same thing, anywho l carn’t do anything here at school casue there all IBMs
