applescript to copy files from a mounted disc automatically

Hello,

I’m not sure what you mean by a sub-folder with the portable disc name. You should get a folder with the date, and the associated files inside that folder. The fact that it works only once after reboot is why I thought of making it a stay-open application. I did not try it with the revised plist file posted here yet, because I haven’t been at my mac yet. I’ll try later today or tomorrow and report back.

Hope this explains the subFolder issue. When the script runs I get the correct folder with the Date as its name and all of the correct files are copied to that folder. I also get a folder with the name of the portable disk that is mounted within the date named Folder. This folder has all of the files copied to it that are on the portable disk. The portable disk that i am using is a flash drive and I am using it for photos.

Thanks for sharing your Ideas

Yes, that’s what I thought you meant. This shouldn’t happen…I’ll take another look when I get to my computer and let you know.
