Thanks for the explanation. It still went a little over my head, but not so far up this time =)

I added .pdf files to it, just in case. I taught the students to save pictures as pdf files so they print a little faster. It is hard to have out of date computers trying to run a newer operating system (at least way newer than the computers themselves) and get them to do all the stuff everyone wants them to do.

I also added empty trash right before end tell.

It is great that you all are so willing to help me. I love playing around in AppleScript, I just don’t always have the time to search and figure things out. I have 2 days to reimage all the computers in the lab and having that script ready to use will make it go much faster.

Glad the board could help. I’ve noticed in the past that Kai often responds to your posts, but none of us has heard a word from him for several weeks now. Away for a holiday, I suspect.
