Yes, this is exactly the problem. Saving the clipboard in file is easy, but restoring from this file with “set the clipboard to” (without “as”) put all clipboard info into a text string.
There is an other problem too. How to match the clipboard first word in the list with file type: picture <–> “PICT”, string <–> “TEXT”, etc…
