Getting SIP settings right for shell script in Mojave

I was having some trouble with the Folding@home client on macOS Mojave and was grateful to discover 7.5.1. However, I have been using crontab entries to play, pause, and finish folding at specific times, and these scripts have not been working reliably since installing 7.5.1. They were working fine on the older version I had installed before, even since upgrading to Mojave.

An example crontab entry:

0 21 * * * cd ~/Library/Scripts && ./pausefah.sh

The script called is a one-liner that commands: FAHClient --send-pause

I’ve tried adding Terminal and the individual scripts to the Accessibility list in Privacy preferences and Terminal to the Full Disk Access list. However, the scripts work fine when I call them manually in Terminal. The problem is that crontab no longer calls them automatically.

Anyone have an idea what I might need to do to get everyone playing nice again?

Thanks!
