I am searching for an AppleScript, which I would add to the dock. I would drag the desired original file to this AppleScript. The AppleScript would:
1: Copy the original file to any external drive (mine are always mounted and visible),
2: Copy the copied file from the second hard drive to the desktop, with the appended suffix COPY in the filename,
3: Delete the copied file from the second hard drive.
