Adding Return Receipt to Mail

I am at a loss on how to start this project. There are times that I need to have comfirmation that someone has recieved an email. Apple’s Mail does not provide a return receipt button option. I would like to create a button that would be in the header of the email, that the addressee could just press and a message would be sent back to me with the addressee’s name and Subject line of the email. This would not be in all email just certain ones.

Any help to get me started or in what direction I should go for resources is much appreciated.

Thanks, that is a start. I will use that and see if I can create a button for the “Reply-to” line that will read the subject line and then auto reply to the sender.
