AirPort Power and Internet Connect

I’m trying to script turning on the power to an AirPort card if it’s turned off. Please see my comment in the script below:

–Open this script in a new Script Editor window.

tell application “Internet Connect”
if AirPort power of AirPort configuration 1 = false then
–this causes an error even though the IC dictionary doesn’t say this is a r/o property
set AirPort power of AirPort configuration 1 to true
end if
end tell

Any ideas?
