Ok, for some reason in Script Editor all of the aliases in my user folder show up as starting at my user folder, ie alias “me:Documents:file.txt” instead of alias “Macintosh HD:Users:me:Documents:file.txt”. I have no idea why it’s doing this or what’s going on, but it is causing some issues in some of my scripts. If I choose something that’s not located in my home folder, it includes the entire “Macintosh HD:… etc”. Does anyone know why it’s doing this and how I can get it back to include the entire path?
