One thing I seem to do often is align objects to horizontal centers using InDesign CS. This requires using the Align palette and selecting the “Align Horizontal Centers” icon. Is there a script that could take two selected objects and align to horizontal centers, so I could asign a keyboard shortcut to this action?
Having another script aligning to vertical centers would be almost equally beneficial.
Though you can make a script, why not just use the built in functions?
Go to the keyboard shortcuts, choose “object editing” and the commands for H or V align center are there and you can make a keyboard shortcut for them.
I am sorry for the bad assumption, and lack of even looking into the program.
