I’d like to write a script for alpabetize my Safari bookmark folders, but I’m too much of a newbie doofus to pull it off. My books aren’t helpful in this regard. Ideas?
Which Safari bookmark folders are you referring to? As far as I can tell, Safari’s bookmarks are stored in a .plist file in the ~/Library/Safari directory.
Hi, Greg. Thanks for writing. Yes, I’m referring to that bookmarks.plist file exactly. I suppose one could write scripts that would address/engage the Property List Editor application. How one would go about it specifically, I’m far from certain.
