ANN: New book on AppleScriptOjbC

I’m pleased to announce the release of ‘AppleScriptObjC Explored,’ a PDF
book with sample projects, and to date the only detailed documentation of
AppleScriptObjC.

‘AppleScriptObjC Explored’ looks at Cocoa from a scripter’s perspective.
Subtitled ‘A Guide to Writing Cocoa Applications Using AppleScript in Mac OS
X 10.6,’ it teaches you how to master this new area of AppleScript by
working through a range of projects, plus it includes a large reference
section.

‘AppleScriptObjC Explored’ covers what works, what doesn’t work, and what
has to be changed to make it work. More than 15 sample projects cover areas
like progress dialogs, tables, images, sheets, panels, menus, notifications,
and saving preferences. It explains how to get the same functionality as
open and idle handlers, and how to incorporate Objective-C code into your
projects.

AppleScriptObjC requires Mac OS X 10.6, as do the resulting applications.

You can find out more and buy it here
http://www.macosxautomation.com/applescript/apps/ for $US29.95.
