Has anybody got macOS Tahoe Siri Shortcuts automation with a mail trigger working?

vdsa. I don’t have a solution, but I thought I’d provide some feedback, FWIW.
I have several automations with different triggers, and they all work fine. I tried to create an automation with an email trigger, and it didn’t work. I tried several variations of the email trigger also without success. So, I have to assume it’s broken.
I’m on macOS 26.1 release candidate 1.
I was wondering it it was a 26.0 bug that would get fixed in 26.1. Perhaps we’ll have to wait longer
I’m now on macOS 26.3 public beta 2, and the email automation still does not appear to work. I did a Google search and found that the email automation seems to work on IOS devices. Perhaps this automation on macOS devices is more difficult to implement.
I asked Google AI about this and didn’t get any helpful information. The Google AI response made reference to a “When New Mail Arrives” condition, but I couldn’t find any way to implement that.
