AppleScript BBCode button for use in blog?

Hello.

I’m fairly new to Applescript and clueless in HTML, but I’m wondering if whatever code makes the BBCode button work on these forums is available for other uses. Specifically, I’m working on a blog about some video playback work I’ve done that uses a few bits of Applescript and would like to be able to post the script the same way we post it here, so a reader could click and have the script open in Applescript editor.

I can, of course, just post it as text and instruct them to copy it and open it in Applescript editor, but the main purpose is just to demonstrate what these scripts do, so this would be a shortcut.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There used to be a page on the Apple Web site describing how to do it too which is now hosted here on the MacOSXAutomation site (not hosted by Apple).
