i am trying to no avail to get applescript to run. every time i start recording, it locks up the mac.
has anyone had any problems with this real basic (i’m sure) problem?

have tried reinstalling as well.
I had this problem too… AS 1.6 is very buggy. I allways recommend an upgrade to AS 1.8.2b3, which (on my mind) is the better AS release after 1.3.7 & 1.4.3.
