I am new to applescripting and was looking for books / online resources to help learn and user this scripting language. So far, the things Ihave tried have been really cool and now I am definetly looking to broaden my knowledge on the matter.
Thanks in advance.
You will find nearly everything you need right here at MacScripter. For instance, we have a huge section of articles (both old and new) on different aspects of AppleScript for all levels of scripters on our unScripted page. Specifically, you will find the first three articles of a new feature called AppleScript for Beginners. Every week, we have a new article posted at Scriptwire, and then each article is placed in the unScripted section for future use.
We also have an extensive and up-to-date catalog of books on our Books Page that can give you some idea of what sorts of texts are out there. Some have reviews, many do not.
Finally, spend some time at our Links section. That is one of my sections (together with the Books section), but I admit that some of the links are non-functional, but I have not sifted through all of them yet, so be patient if you hit some dead links. (Or better yet, send me an email of the dead ones, and I can delete them.)
I hope this helps, best of luck to you.
