Can AppleScript Studio applications define their own Apple Events? I read one thread where someone was asking if they could embed a scripting addition in their app. The answer was no there and I suspect that it’s the same here.

Seems that the new package format for applets/droplets have such feature, but actually as-studio can’t do it. Also, the old Jon’s Commands had a command called “load embedded scripting additions”, but that required you to embed compatible scripting additions within your applet, manually, and have Jon’s Commands installed in the machine client.
Also existed an app called “Applet Binder” (?), which embedded osaxen you could use on-the-fly (as the new bundle format).
FaceSpan also allowed OSAX embedding. Don’t know if 4.0 supports it (I doubt it).
