Applescript to encrypt / decode passwords, etc

I was just wondering if there was any applescripts out there that could do some encoding / decoding of strings?

Here’s what I want to do:

I would like to have Autofill in Safari be able to fill out things I use a lot, like credit card info, or account numbers, but I don’t actually want those numbers stored in Safari…

So I thought it would be nice to be able to autofill a number that’s not really the correct number, but then run an applescript that would decode it to the correct numbers.

Maybe there’s already an application that does something like this…

Presumably, if the encode/decode method is contained in the script, you’re exposing your passwords there, so you might as well just save the passwords in there as well?

Maybe you could MD5 hash with a do shell script and use that as a key to look up the password information?
