AppleScript to select sections in a Word document help needed

I have Word documents that have several sections in them. Each section can be identified because they all start with a Heading3.

I need to copy individual sections from a document into other documents. Currently I do this by selecting a section from one Heading3 to the next Heading3 using the mouse. I then have an AppleScript that I invoke to copy the selected section into a new document.

I now want to automate selecting the section. I would like to place the cursor in the section to be copied and then have AppleScript select the section from the beginning Heading3 to the next Heading3. Then my current AppleScript can copy it and the process would be fully automated.

I have no idea how to do this. Any help will be appreciated.

I can’t help you with your question but I would like to know how you constructed a script to capture your highlighted text.
