auto hide window?

Hi,

I’ve built an AS Studio application and it is working but it automatically hides itself if I click on some other application’s window to bring it to the front instead of simply staying where it was like every other application does. It can be brought back by using the dock icon so it is not fatal just annoying.

Is there a button/switch or something in Xcode that needs to be set to change the behaviour?

What exactly is this behaviour called? Searching the doc’s doesn’t work too well without the right terminology :frowning:

Are you using a panel that has the Utility Window option checked?

No the option checked for the window (in IB) was “hide on de-activate”, unchecked and rebuilt, problem solved.
