Auto-run an application and file on a CDROM when mounted

Does anyone know of a script that can auto run an application and specific file from a CDROM once the CD has been mounted ??

Does anyone think this is possible with appleScript ?
Similiar to an AutoRun file for a CDROM on a PC platform.

Since opening a file automatically is a security risk, the ability to do this is controlled by the user of each Mac. As far as I know, there’s no reliable way to do what you want to do in a distributed environment.

I read somewhere this can be do while burning a CD with Toast - BUT I tried it and could not get it to work. If Toast claims this to be a feature -I’m assuming that this is -in fact possible.
Still searching, any help would be appreciated.
