We have a group of us connected to a MiniServer (Lion) with TimeMachine. Each user auto-mounts a folder from the server on startup of their computer. At startup I’d like to have each computer automatically backup all Mail preference setting plus all emails into the user’s folder. Later we’d like to also add Address Book, iCal & Safari’s URLs to this.
I googled for hours before I found MacScripter and ran several searched but found nothing coming close to this. I’m new to scripting and tried beginning on my own, but have a heck of a time going nowhere fast”reading Apples’s procedure to manually move these files to a folder on the desktop is a disaster waiting to happen”hence my search for a scripting solution.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
