Hi all.
First, although I am familiar with Applescript, I never made it beyond newb. I am new to Automator. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
I urgently need to convert a large number of architectural drawings to pdf and have tried the Cups-pdf route. There are two issues with Cups-pdf:
1/ the Cups-pdf seems to set the page size to Letter/8 1/2"x11" and orientation to portrait. I need 24"x36" and 11"x17" and landscape.
a) I need to access the Page Setup to change the page size and orientation.
b) If I must stay with Letter size, then I want to change the reduction setting to fit the drawing to the Letter size and change the orientation.
2/ I want to automate hitting the “Enter” key and clicking the Do Not Save button.
Cups-pdf does place the converted drawings in a file on the Desktop - nice!
Are there Automator and/or Applescript scripts I can cobble together for this?
Urgently needed.
Thanks.
Leonard
