Automator Workflow Runner is not allowed assistive access

I’m running into an issue with a Folder Action and could use some guidance.

When I execute the action, Finder returns the following error:

System Events got an error: Automator Workflow Runner is not allowed assistive access.

I’ve already granted Accessibility access to Automator, but I can’t find anything named “Automator Workflow Runner” in the Privacy & Security → Accessibility list to enable it.

Has anyone run into this before, or know how to grant the necessary permissions?

I’m currently on Tahoe 26.4.

Not sure if it will help, but that message turned out to misleading for me: I encountered the error while trying to script something to organize TextEdit windows. After trying to grant access to “Automator Workflow Runner” by several methods, it turned out I needed to give accessibility access to TextEdit and everything worked.
