I would like to applescript bookmarks in PDF documents, without GUI or Adobe. The purpose of such script would be either to:
•insert bookmark
•go to bookmark
I have failed to find any method in Apple’s PDFKit, Quartz or Foundation frameworks.
Bookmarks – PDFOutlines – are complex. You’re going to have to deal with PDFDestinations, PDFActionGoTos, and possibly PDFAnnotations. Best of luck
