Calendars

Has anyone tried to make a custom calendar view?
I’d rather not make on, just use the cocoa calendars, but i can’t seem to be able to make a NSCalendar object in the applescript studio.

Any ideas?

What are you trying to do, exactly? If you just want an easy way to present a calendar, you can use the “cal” command and set the output to a table or a monospaced text view:

–Open this script in a new Script Editor window.

set current_month to my get_cal(((month of (current date)) as integer), (year of (current date)))
–set current_year to my get_cal(“”, (year of (current date)))

on get_cal(the_month, the_year)
return (do shell script "cal " & the_month & " " & the_year)
end get_cal

This may not be what you’re looking for at all but I just used the code above to make a very basic AS Studio project to display a calendar in a table view. You can take a look at the complete project here:
