Can Applescript pass a file to an Automator droplet ?

Hi there,

I found a really useful Automator action/droplet/application named TextToPDF.

When you drag Word or .txt documents onto TextToPDF it automatically converts the files to PDF documents
of the same filename (+ the PDF file extension).

Can Applescript pass the file to the Automator Action so that it simulates a file being dropped onto it?
