Compare list in Calc with Folder to check contents

Hi

I have a spreadsheet with a list of item names ‘Column’ D I need to cross check the name (eg. DJ30NW04687OR5BD ) is in a folder on my desktop as DJ30NW04687OR5BD.psd or DJ30NW04687OR5BD.jpg then to append a tick in column H to indicate the file exists or show a path to its location.

Can this be done with Applescript. Using Open Office Calc?
