I am new to this but have a good basic understanding of Applescript
I am trying to copy backed up files and folders from a CD to my hard disk. My problem is some files are locked and some files are write protected from the original database that they are created in. When I try and copy the files the copy process stops when it encounters either a locked or protected file.
I would like an Applescript that will unlock all the locked files on the CD and then copy all the remaining files and folders to a selected folder on my hard drive, except for any files that are still write protected or files that will stop the copy process.
