I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this limitation and potentially found a workaround for it.
We’re trying to come up with a way to automatically create chapters for iDVD 3 from an ASCII text file. As you know, iMovie 3 can be used to export chapter tracks automatically into iDVD 3. Unfortunately iMovie 3 is not Applescriptable. While Quicktime Player IS fully Applescriptable, the chapter tracks that can be created automatically there are not compatible with the chapter tracks read by iDVD. Has anyone devised a way to create chapter tracks for iDVD on the fly (without using Final Cut Pro)?
