I need to create an Applescript to create a project based folder structure as follows, and was after some starting advice from anybody that had the time to contribute their thoughts.

There needs to be user input at the start, to select the network drive on which the folder structure will be created. This would also serve as the basis for naming in the steps that follow.
The parent folder needs to take the name of the network drive into a variable that allows the user to amend the text string to something more human readable, and then create the folder in red using the amended string.
It also needs to create a plain text file (also in red) with the name “Project Info - [same string as used for parent folder]”. This text file should contain the same string as text within the document, so that it has an individual MD5 checksum.
Please let me know if I can offer any further information to clarify what I am trying to do.
