can anybody tell me if it’s possible to customise the message that’s displayed when you click ‘About’ on a compiled applescript applications menu?

It seems to be the text from Applescript Editor’s Description pane.

well spotted! I just opened my application script and added some text to the description field. Now when I select the ‘About’ menu my text appears.
