Disable or close the WIFI notification window

I use FrontRow on my Mac Mini as a Car computer.
I have the problem that every time I pass a WIFI point, OSX asks me if I would like to connect to it.

The pop-up window steals focus from front-row at completely random times and makes it so I can’t control front row until I exit out of it, and close the pop-up that is in the background.
I have found no way to disable the WIFI pop-up inside preferences.

Would it be possible to either write a script that disables WIFI when FrontRow is running, or detects and closes the pop-up and gives focus back to FrontRow?

Hi,

what’s about changing “Ask before joining an open network” into “Keep looking for recent networks”
in Network Preferences > Airport > Options

Thanks, I guess I didn’t dig deep enough on that one.
