Drag and Drop file onto window in non scriptable application

Hi there

I have a non scriptable application (at least I can’t see that it is scriptable) and I want to drag and drop selected files in the Finder onto a named window in the application.

Can this be done using Applescript?

what application is it ? also are you simply trying to open thie files in that application ? if so is that default application for that file type ?
