is it possible to make a .app that you drop text strings into? File items is possible, but I have not found anyway to select some text, then drag it to an AppleScript app, where the app does something “useful” with the text. can it be done? how?
Kind of.
You would have to drag the text to the desktop or other location and it will create a text clipping file.
Then you can drag & drop this on the AppleScript app.
