Hi,
This is a bit of a weird request.
We use a program called Go Connect which allows to dial numbers from webpages on the desk handsets we have.
I would like this to work in Outlook unfortunately there is no plug in for it or anything.
I have managed to come up with a basic script which involves the user highlighting the number they want to call and required GUI involvement which is a pain for setting up I would like it to run straight off the bad instead of having to give Outlook and Go Connect accessibility permissions.
I was wondering is it possible to have a script run by schedule when a new email comes in to check the email for a phone number and giving it a hyperlink “dial:numberhere” that is the link that the Go Connect plug in for web browsers shows.
I.E.
If a website shows 01234 567 890 it would give that number a link which would be “dial:01234567890” which is understood by Go Connect and tells it to dial that number the users handset.
I know it is a bit of an odd request and editing an email is abit taboo.
Thanks in advance,
Bruce
