Does anyone know a scriptable way to extract the date/time stamp embedded in digital video? The media management application I’m currently using doesn’t get it on ingest, but is scriptable, so I’d like to grab it and add it to the annotations. Quicktime doesn’t seem to see it either. I know it’s there because I can see it with another app, but I’d doing a large cataloging operation and don’t want to have to cut and paste it for every one.
