File copy to windows server...

Good day all,

I am a newbie to this forum so please excuse me if this has been asked in some way before. I am by no means a Applescript programmer, guess I have a large learnig curve ahead!!!

I need to copy a file - PDF file - to a windows server in our domain but the copy has to be a “unix” copy to prevent the resource fork from coping. I have turned off the .ds_store copy as per Apple Info #301711.
The path I want is from this folder path ~/documents/webap to copy to the server folder //domainserver/folder which will be mounted (but as an added protection I think it would be a good idea to check and or mount this server if not on the desktop).

I think the best way of doing this is to have a script and have folder actions call this script and  watch this folder when a PDF is droped in there it would take over. Is there a way of ensuring the file(s) are copied before moving them to the server?

Thanks very much all.

Bill
