I have a folder action using…
on open folder…
and its great, but fails when the parent folder is viewed in a list view. Im wondering if there is anyway to trigger a folder action from a list view. Like, when the drop down is opened, it wold lauch the folder action? thanks.

right, forgot to explain. I have a script that is trying to run when the folder is opened, on open folder, run this script. But, the on open folder can be overridden if they use the comp in a List view. When i drop down the folder in a list view, nothing happens. if the folder is accessed through the tab view or list view, the action doesnt get triggered. only if its opened in a new window, which makes sense based on the terminology, but i wold like this action to run when the folder is accessed from list, tab, or icon view.
