Freeze screen Mac

Hi all

I am trying to find a way to freeze the Mac screen when my Code run (open and close workbooks).
In Excel VBA Application.ScreenUpdating = False is not working as in Windows.

Maybe there a a Applescript way to do this ???

Hello.

I guess your objective is to hide any screen cluttering.

I am not sure if you can set your app to hidden, and have your script still running, but that is what I’d try first.

Secondly, I’d try to set the window to invisible, while it is updating.

Not funny when you see the screen flicker if you merge 100 or more workbooks

I test more this weekend
