Help Find Addresses, Send Mail

I’m afraid my first AppleScript project may be a bit ambitious for a noob, but maybe with some pointers I can work it out. I need to…

  1. Find all the people in my Address Book who have an email address containing “@veryspecialdomain.com”.

  2. Create a mail message to each of them, using the addresses that contain “@veryspecialdomain.com” regardless of what other email addresses they might have.

  3. Attach a file to each of the messages.

  4. Send them all.

I’m comfortable programming, but AppleScript is a bit other worldly at first glance, and a few pointers might save me some head scratching.

As is often the case, the discipline required to ask a coherent question ultimately resulted in a reasonably coherent solution.
