I need to make a script that takes the 6 digit job number and drops the extention (example .pdf) and creates a barcode using a font that makes a barcode (I have the font and it works great).
We use Preps (an application that places images on a plates for printing ) the application is fully scriptable.
I’m trying to make a script that creates the barcode and places it on our printing plates at 24 point type in a spacific location on the plate so we can
scan our printing jobs at press…
